NBSSI PARTNERS WITH WOMEN’S LIFESTYLE EXPO GHANA.
Accra.11th July, 2019. The Women’s Lifestyle Expo, Ghana,
organisers of the 5th edition of Women’s Expo
Ghana 2019 Show is set to partner with the National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI), the apex
governmental body established to promote and develop the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Sector
in Ghana. The partnership is in line with NBSSI’s mandate to promote MSMEs by providing a common platform to
showcase their unique Made-in-Ghana products through trade shows and exhibitions.
The overarching objective of the Expo is to assist MSMEs to create awareness of their businesses, networks
and market and to explore other emerging business opportunities.
The 3-Day Event is scheduled to take place at the Accra City Hall (New AMA Head Office) Car Park from
Thursday, 25th to Saturday, 27th 2019. The 5th edition of the Women’s Expo 2019 places emphasis on the
acceleration and sustainable growth of emerging Ghanaian MSMEs particularly women owned businesses.
According to the Event Director, Nana Adwoa Kwegyir-Aggrey, the following are some of the activities
outlined for the 3-Day Event. This include:
The Executive Director of NBSSI, Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh lauded the organisers of the Event and added that
NBSSI would not relent on its mandate to support in the creation of an enabling environment for MSMEs
Sector
to thrive since they are the backbone of every economy.
Since its inception in 2015, the Women's Expo Ghana has hosted over five hundred (500) exhibitors and
over
10,000 visitors. This year's event is supported by MTN MoMo, Lucozade, C&J Medicare Hospital and
promoted by
Kuulpeeps.

Due to the covid19 restrictions on public gatherings, Women's Expo Ghana 2020 which was scheduled for July 24-25,2020 has been postponed.
A new date will be communicated as soon as new directives on public gathering are announced.
